Sen. Eric Lesser Introduces Longmeadow Special Olympics Skier Kevin Greenberg to Mass. Senate
Sen. Eric P. Lesser introduced Kevin Greenberg, a Longmeadow native and Special Olympics skier, to members of the Massachusetts Senate during its formal session today. “Kevin, like myself, is a proud Longmeadow native, in addition to being an accomplished Special Olympics athlete and an aspiring ski instructor for individuals with disabilities,” Sen. Lesser said during his address to the Senate body.
“He has accomplished much during his young life, and I am proud to represent him as his State Senator. Kevin’s friendship, loyalty and goodwill have affected many lives, my own included.”
Greenberg, 29, came in second place in slalom, giant slalom and super G as a member of the AbilityPLUS Bluebirds alpine race team in 2013. Greenberg and Sen. Lesser are childhood friends, having attended Sinai Temple and participating together in their local Boy Scout troop during their youth.
